Friedrichshafen to get new domestic flights to three major cities - Friedrichshafen Airport relaunches key domestic flights in early 2026

Friedrichshafen Airport is set to reopen regular flights to Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg from January 12, 2026. The new routes aim to improve travel links for business and leisure passengers alike. Tickets will go on sale in mid-December through multiple booking channels.

The decision to launch these routes follows detailed demand studies from local businesses. The schedule includes four weekly flights to Berlin and Düsseldorf, along with three to Hamburg. All services will be operated by Avanti Air using a 78-seat aircraft.

The flights are expected to strengthen Friedrichshafen’s appeal for both companies and skilled workers. Faster links to key cities could also support regional growth in tourism and trade. The first services will take off in January 2026.
