Fulva Secures Fresh Funding to Reinvent Traditional Halwa Globally

Fulva, a premium confectionery brand, has secured fresh funding to expand its modern take on traditional halwa. The startup, known for blending classic recipes with contemporary flavours, has already attracted over 50,000 customers worldwide. Investors include Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, who backed the brand through SailThru Ventures.

The company launched with 24 premium halwa varieties, offering a mix of heritage and innovation. Popular products include Halwa Stuffed Dates and Coco Bites, designed to appeal to modern tastes. Demand has surged from corporate gifting buyers, event planners, and luxury hotels.

This latest funding round also drew support from industry figures such as Prejith Narayan, Salpido Brothers, Ajith Nair, and Rahul Mamman. Fulva plans to use the capital for marketing, distribution growth, and upgrading production facilities. The brand's long-term goal is to redefine halwa as a globally recognised premium confectionery. Since its launch, Fulva has shipped products to more than 15 countries. Aman Gupta highlighted his enthusiasm for the brand's mission to modernise traditional sweets and build a lasting presence in the market.

The investment will help Fulva scale operations and introduce new formats. With a focus on innovation and quality, the brand aims to reach a wider audience while staying true to its roots. Expansion plans include deeper market penetration and product diversification.
