Fürth Invites Residents to Shape New Construction Area
The city of Fürth is inviting residents to participate in the planning process for a new construction area between Dr.-Mack-Straße and Lange Straße. The city council has passed resolution 475 to utilise existing densification potential while preserving the quality of the quarter. Public participation is open from October 29 to November 28, 2025.
The city administration aims to develop the area efficiently through active public participation. Residents can view the draft plans and submit statements electronically to [email protected], by post, or in person. The plans can also be viewed on-site at the city planning center in the Technical Town Hall on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 AM to 12 PM. Extensive investigations have been carried out, including recording the current building stock and defining urban planning goals. A central information event will take place on November 6, 2025, at 4 PM in the Technical Town Hall to discuss the plans further. Statements submitted after the deadline may not be considered in the later decision-making process. To find out the name of the leader of the planning group for this specific project, consult the official city website, the Bauamt or planungsbehörde, local news articles, or social media and public announcements.
The city of Fürth is committed to involving the public in the planning process for the new construction area. With the public participation period open until November 28, 2025, residents are encouraged to view the plans and submit their statements. The city aims to develop the area efficiently while maintaining the quality of the quarter.
