Fürth sees slight drop in unemployment but economic worries persist

Unemployment in the Fürth Employment Agency district has fallen slightly, but economic sentiment continues to weaken. The latest figures show a mixed picture, with some areas seeing improvements while others face ongoing challenges. Job vacancies remain lower than last year, despite a small rise in certain sectors. In November, the number of unemployed in the Fürth district dropped to 13,716, bringing the unemployment rate down to 3.8%. However, this figure still sits above the same period last year. Underemployment in the area reached 16,510, with a rate of 4.6%. The Fürth Employment Agency district shows modest signs of recovery, with unemployment rates edging down in some areas. Yet job creation remains sluggish compared to previous years, and economic confidence continues to decline. The gap between those leaving jobs and those finding new ones persists, highlighting ongoing challenges in the labour market.
