Georgia Tech Backs Grad Startups With Free Incorporation Costs
Atlanta’s push to become a leading tech hub is getting a boost from a new initiative. Georgia Tech is helping graduates launch startups by covering their incorporation costs. The effort is backed by Christopher W. Klaus, a prominent alumnus and successful entrepreneur himself.
The programme supports recent graduates by removing financial barriers to starting a business. Christopher W. Klaus, a Georgia Tech alumnus, is funding the incorporation fees for new ventures. His involvement also honours his late son Will, a fellow graduate who shared a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.
The initiative has already made an impact, with startups like Overcast and Cortexa Labs moving forward faster. With continued backing from Klaus and Georgia Tech, more graduates may choose to launch and grow their companies in Atlanta. This could play a key role in the city’s ambition to become a major tech and innovation centre.
