Georgia’s Evangelical Alliance Joins European Network After Years of Growth
The Evangelical Alliance of Georgia has officially joined the European Evangelical Alliance. This announcement comes shortly after the Evangelical Alliance of Ukraine also became a member. The Georgian group, formed in 2019, now represents eight churches and associations across the country.
The Georgian Evangelical Alliance was established after years of planning by local church leaders. Its creation in 2019 marked a significant step for evangelical Christians in the region. Giorgi Ruchadse, chairman of the Alliance and a member of the founding Evangelical Baptist Church of Georgia, leads the organisation.
With eight churches and associations now part of the Alliance, its influence in Georgia is set to grow. The group will focus on collaboration, advocacy, and fostering unity among evangelical believers. Membership in the European Evangelical Alliance provides new opportunities for regional cooperation.
