Georgia’s PM Joins World Leaders at Turkmenistan’s Neutrality Forum

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze recently attended an international forum in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The event, a global gathering to mark the 30th anniversary of the country’s official neutrality, brought together leaders from around the world to discuss global security and cooperation under this theme.

The forum, a main event in the global calendar, brought together heads of state, government officials, and representatives from international organizations. Among the attendees was Russian President Vladimir Putin, though no direct meeting was scheduled between him and Kobakhidze. Georgia’s participation reflected its ongoing engagement in diplomatic platforms, with no indication of separate bilateral talks.

The forum concluded with a focus on neutrality as a tool for global stability. Turkmenistan reaffirmed its commitment to this principle, while participating nations, including Georgia, engaged in broader diplomatic discussions. No new bilateral agreements or announcements were reported during the event.
