German Agency Launches Web Video Ideas Competition for Youth Engagement
The German Federal Agency for Civic Education has initiated a creative contest for web video concepts, centered around 'Social Solidarity and Resilience'. Production firms, producers, and media professionals are invited to propose their unique project ideas until October 27, 2025, at 12:00 noon. The goal is to produce compelling content for young adults aged 18 to 24 who engage with social and political issues on social media.
The chosen projects should raise awareness of democracy and its fundamental values, demonstrate respectful negotiation processes, and bolster the conflict resilience of the young target audience. They should also empower young people to reduce their feelings of powerlessness and participate in a solution-oriented manner, both online and offline. Two formats will be realized in 2026, each with a budget of up to 150,000 euros (including VAT). Interested parties can access the tender documents at evergabe-online.de/tenderdocuments.html?3&id=804232.
As of the deadline, no information is available about which production companies, producers, or media professionals have submitted project ideas.
The creative contest presents an opportunity to generate engaging and thought-provoking content that promotes a more respectful and resilient society. With a deadline of October 27, 2025, at 12:00 noon, interested parties are encouraged to submit their innovative project ideas for consideration.
