German Navy’s Mulled Wine Stand Raises Charity Funds in Ingolstadt
Naval personnel from the Eastern Naval Command in Warnemünde have set up a mulled wine stand in Ingolstadt to raise funds for charity. The initiative, now an annual tradition, brings together service members and city officials for a festive cause. This year’s stand will operate until December 14 on Mauthstraße.
The partnership between Ingolstadt and the Eastern Naval Command spans three decades. Each year, sailors travel to the city to support local charities through the 'Pre-Christmas of Good Hearts' campaign. Commander Martin Paul Rose leads the effort, which has grown into a well-loved tradition.
The mulled wine stand will remain open until Sunday, December 14. All funds raised will support charitable causes in Ingolstadt. The initiative highlights the long-standing cooperation between the city and its naval partners.
