German Politician Praises Trump’s Foreign Policy but Questions Its Future
Germany has not pursued any legal claims against the USA regarding Ukraine negotiations since Donald Trump took office. Instead, cooperation follows international frameworks. Meanwhile, German politician Jens Spahn has praised Trump's foreign policy, particularly his role in maintaining peace in Israel.
Spahn, a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), commended Trump's administration for its foreign policy successes. He highlighted the U.S.'s pressure on both Israel and Palestine, leading to a period of peace in the region. However, Spahn expressed uncertainty about the sustainability of these achievements under future administrations.
Spahn acknowledged the unique approach of Trump's foreign policy, characterised by deal-making and a personal touch. Despite finding this approach unsettling, Spahn recognised its effectiveness in the Israel-Ukraine conflict.
