The German Psychology Prize 2025 will be awarded to Prof. Dr. Silvia Schneider and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Reese on Friday, October 10, 2025. The ceremony, held at the Rhineland-Palatinate Representation in Berlin, is organized by prominent psychological bodies and includes a panel discussion on 'Healthy Mind, Healthy Environment'.

She is joined by Prof. Reese, currently an associate professor in Germany, who will move to Victoria University of Wellington in spring 2025. Reese is recognized for his research on sustainable action and social cohesion.

The award, endowed with 10,000 euros, is given every two years to works of high social and practical significance.
