Germany’s 2025 Bundestag election: Key details for Groß-Gerau voters

The 21st German Bundestag election is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2025. Voters in the Groß-Gerau district can cast their ballots through various methods, including in-person and postal options. Polling stations will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the day of the election.

Those voting in person must bring their polling notification and a valid ID. Polling stations 5 and 7, situated at Innenstadt Primary School, will not be wheelchair-accessible. Meanwhile, stations 19 (Schillerschule) and 32 (Königstädten Primary School) will participate in a representative election survey, though no early results have indicated a leading candidate or party.

The election will last for 10 hours, with all polling stations closing at 6:00 PM. Voters have until then to submit their ballots either in person or via the designated postal box. The results from the representative survey stations will contribute to the overall election trend analysis.
