German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) has postponed his planned visit to China. The trip was initially scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
The postponement comes after the Chinese side did not provide enough additional appointments beyond a meeting with Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Reports do not mention any other Chinese representatives that Wadephul was supposed to meet during his visit.
The German Foreign Minister's visit to China has been postponed indefinitely. The decision was made due to the lack of sufficient appointments from the Chinese side, with only a meeting with Wang Yi confirmed.
