GEWOBAG's 'Schöneberger Linse' Brings 211 Affordable Apartments to Berlin
GEWOBAG is developing a modern residential complex in Berlin's Schöneberger Linse district, offering 211 new rental apartments. Around 90% will be barrier-free, with half available at subsidized rents of €6.50 per square meter. The project, located near Berlin-Südkreuz and Vattenfall's headquarters, is set for completion by early 2023.
The development, named 'Schöneberger Linse', will also include a multi-story car park with 92 spaces and areas for 470 bicycles. Residents will enjoy excellent transport links to public transport, city highways, and the S-Bahn network. Additionally, the project will feature a kindergarten and approximately 5,000 square meters of commercial space.
