Ghana MP Zuwera Mohammed Strengthens Ties with Gbetekpo Community
Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, MP for Salaga South, recently visited the community of Gbetekpo. The trip aimed to thank residents for their support and address local concerns. She also highlighted the strong ties between Gbetekpo and the neighbouring Chaka area.
During her visit, Zuwera conveyed warm greetings from the Majority Leader to the people of Gbetekpo. She acknowledged that 17 out of 126 polling stations had been missed in previous engagements and assured residents this was not deliberate. Her team now plans to tour all areas that voted for them, ensuring no community is left out.
The MP explained that her earlier focus had been on Chaka, but she was now extending her outreach to Gbetekpo. She stressed the deep connection between the two communities and thanked locals for their patience. The visit also included discussions with residents, elders, and party officials to gather feedback and strengthen relations. In the coming days, the team will meet with the council of elders, party executives, and other key stakeholders in Salaga South. They will also connect with residents who have recently returned from Yeji, ensuring all voices are heard.
The tour follows a broader effort to personally thank constituents across Salaga South. Zuwera’s team will continue visiting overlooked areas to reinforce support and engagement. The MP’s visit signals a commitment to addressing local needs and maintaining open communication.
