Ghana's Chief of Staff Praises Duamenefa Foundation's Decade of Peacebuilding in Volta Region
Chief of Staff of Ghana, Julius Debrah, has lauded the Duamenefa Foundation for its decade-long commitment to grassroots peacebuilding in the Volta Region. He tied the Foundation's work to the government's agenda of people-centred development and urged Ghanaians to emulate its example of community-driven transformation.
Founded by Evangelist Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, the Duamenefa Foundation has been promoting peaceful coexistence, justice, and community harmony for a decade. Its work includes conflict mediation, reconciliation, and community dialogue, all aimed at fostering sustainable peaceful coexistence rooted in culture, morality, and shared humanity.
The Foundation's approach is multifaceted. It uses sports and cultural activities to promote youth development and unity, and Fafaa Radio, a part of the Foundation, practices 'intervention journalism' to help resolve conflicts. Julius Debrah praised this holistic approach, highlighting the Foundation's dedication to its cause over the past ten years.
