Ghana’s First Trade House in London Opens Doors for Local Businesses in 2026

Ghana is set to open its first Trade House in the UK, marking a major step in boosting economic ties between the two nations. The new facility will officially launch on 15 January 2026 at the Ghana High Commission in London. Its purpose is to help local businesses expand into international markets, particularly the UK.

The Ghana Trade House will act as a central hub for promoting and selling Ghanaian products. Items on offer will include processed foods, textiles, handmade crafts, and other export-ready goods. The facility is designed to give small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a stronger presence in the competitive UK market.

The Trade House will begin operations in January 2026, offering Ghanaian businesses a direct route into the UK economy. Its establishment reflects ongoing efforts to support local producers and expand international trade opportunities. The facility is expected to play a key role in connecting Ghanaian goods with British consumers.
