Ghana’s push for Afrobarometer HQ highlights its democratic leadership in Africa

Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, MP for Salaga South, has backed a motion to establish the Afrobarometer headquarters in Ghana. She praised the country’s democratic progress, crediting a wide range of stakeholders for their dedication to transparency and good governance in the democratic convention.

Ibrahimiah highlighted the contributions of key actors between 2025 and her recent speech. The President and national government pushed through reforms and anti-corruption measures, demonstrating their commitment to democracy.
