Gigantic auto manufacturing facility set to emerge in Khabarovsk region
The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV) and online automotive retailer SonicAuto.ru have announced plans to establish a modern assembly plant in the Khabarovsk region. The plant, set to be located in the Habarovsk TOR area, will specialise in assembling Russian and Chinese-made mining equipment, trucks, and special equipment.
The project, which carries an investment volume of 500 million rubles, is expected to create 50 new jobs. However, the comprehensive support under the Advanced Development Territory (TASED) and Free Port regimes could potentially lead to the creation of up to 250 new jobs.
With the aim of boosting local industrial capacity, the plant will produce modern vehicles adapted for the regional market, leveraging the strategic advantages offered by the Free Port and TASED frameworks to enhance economic growth in the Far East region of Russia.
The plant's production setup will be aided by support measures and benefits provided by the preferential regimes, including tax incentives, administrative support, and infrastructure development aid. SonicAuto.ru, with its established position in the market, is expected to face no problems with product sales.
SonicAuto.ru, the leading dealer of trucks and special equipment in the Far East and Eastern Siberia for nine years, has an extensive customer base in the region. The company also boasts a well-developed service infrastructure, ensuring efficient and effective operations at the new plant.
