Girl escapes attempted abduction after stranger offers ring in Aktobe

In Aktobe's Nur-City neighborhood, a young girl playing outside in the second microdistrict was approached in broad daylight by an unknown woman who tried to lure her away, promising her a ring, Liter.kz reports, citing Diapazon.
The child resisted, but the woman persisted in trying to persuade her. When the girl saw an opportunity, she broke free, ran away, and hid in a nearby store. The entire incident was captured on security cameras from the Nurdaulet store.
Local police confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
"Through operational and investigative measures, the woman's identity was established, and she was brought in for questioning," the Aktobe Regional Police Department stated. "She is currently undergoing necessary legal procedures as authorities clarify the motives and details of the incident. Once the investigation is complete, a legal assessment will be made, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law."
