Global leaders unite at Berlin summit to back Ukraine’s push for peace

A group of willing nations reaffirmed their full support for Ukraine during a summit in Berlin on November 15, 2022. The meeting, part of the Goodwill Coalition, focused on securing a just and lasting peace in the region. Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro later stressed that Russia must now demonstrate its commitment to ending the war.

The international gathering brought together leaders from multiple countries, including Montenegro, who participated in the discussions. He highlighted the importance of continued peace talks involving all parties, particularly Europe, and called for stronger unity among allies.

The summit concluded with a clear message: Russia must take concrete steps to prove its willingness to end the conflict. Meanwhile, the coalition of nations remains committed to supporting Ukraine through ongoing diplomatic efforts. The path forward will require sustained cooperation among all involved parties.
