Göppingen's Design Board to Review Key Projects in Public Meeting

Göppingen's Design Advisory Board will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 3, at 3:30 p.m. in the Grand Council Chamber of City Hall. The session will focus on three major projects, including a new residential development and the expansion of a local physiotherapy practice.

Deputy Mayor for Urban Development Eva Noller has encouraged residents to attend and share their views on the proposed designs.

The board, made up of architecture and urban planning experts, aims to promote thoughtful development and high design standards. Its members include Prof. Peter Cheret, Prof. Uta Stock-Gruber, Prof. Johannes Kappler, and Liza Heilmeyer, each bringing specialised knowledge to the discussions.

At the meeting, three key projects will be reviewed. The first is a multi-family residential building planned for 14 Kaiserbergsteige. The second involves expanding a physiotherapy practice at 27 Rembrandtstraße. The third, titled *Living in the Park*, proposes six multi-family homes at 13 Wolfstraße. While details on *Living in the Park* remain unclear, no public records currently provide updates on its development, construction timeline, or architectural features. The board continues to support transparency in building culture, ensuring residents stay informed about urban changes.

The meeting offers a chance for the public to engage with the city's architectural future. Decisions made by the board will shape Göppingen's urban landscape, from housing to healthcare facilities. Residents can attend in person to learn more and contribute to the discussion.
