Governor Pasler Boosts Industry, Education, and Healthcare in Sverdlovsk Region
Governor Denis Pasler has been busy overseeing several significant developments in Sverdlovsk Region. He inaugurated a new production line at Ural Fool plant, increasing its capacity, and inspected the progress of Ural Federal University's world-class campus. Meanwhile, he met with key figures to discuss hospital development and veteran support.
Governor Pasler's latest initiative involves the Ural Foil plant in Mikhaylovsk. He inaugurated a new production line, boosting the plant's casting capacity by nearly 10%. This is the largest investment project in Russia's foil-rolling industry in decades, costing 1.6 billion rubles ($17.5 million).
In the education sector, over 8,000 students and schoolchildren will benefit from new buildings starting next year. The new structures at Ural Federal University's campus, set to be commissioned in December, will house two institutes and a specialized educational center.
Governor Pasler also met with Russian Presidential Envoy Artyom Zhega to discuss plans for developing Sverdlovsk's hospitals. Additionally, he met with Kirill Skuratov, CEO of Ural Airlines, to discuss the construction of a specialized hangar complex for servicing Russia’s MC-21 passenger aircraft, with an estimated cost of 10 billion rubles.
In a move to honor veterans, Governor Pasler announced a one-time payment of 25,000 rubles for veterans and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War ahead of Victory Day. However, no concrete information was found regarding new support measures for participants of the 'special military operation'.
