Greece strengthens military ties with Lebanon in new security talks

Greece is lending a helping hand to the Lebanese Armed Forces, with both countries' defence ministers recently discussing regional security. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has expressed his nation's commitment to supporting Lebanese reforms and has invited Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to visit Greece.

The Greek and Lebanese defence ministers, Nikos Dendias and Michel Menasha respectively, held talks focusing on regional security issues. Greece, under Mitsotakis' leadership, has made it clear that protecting Christian populations in the Middle East is a top priority.

Mitsotakis has reiterated Greece's readiness to continue supporting the Lebanese Armed Forces, demonstrating his country's dedication to strengthening ties with Lebanon. The Greek premier has also extended an invitation to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to visit Greece, further solidifying the bond between the two nations.
