Green Week Berlin Welcomes Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

The Green Week in Berlin, an annual event focused on climate protection and sustainability, drew thousands of visitors this year. This event, held since 1926, was enriched by the participation of Central Asian countries like Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, who showcased their cultural and culinary highlights.

Tajikistan's delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Nigina Anvari, presented local products and traditional clothing. Their specialties, such as dried fruits, honey, and chocolate-covered plums, proved popular among visitors. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's delegation, headed by Akmal Kosymov, displayed traditional bread types and desserts, along with artistic souvenirs and ceramic tableware, drawing significant attention.

Both countries participated with notable exhibitions, contributing to the event's success. The Green Week 2023 featured over 1,400 exhibitors from 60 countries, attracting over 400,000 visitors. The organisers expressed their delight in the participation of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, which will continue in future events.

The Green Week in Berlin, with its focus on sustainability and climate protection, benefited from the cultural and culinary contributions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Both countries' delegations showcased their unique products and traditions, enriching the event and drawing significant visitor interest.
