Greens in Saxony-Anhalt push bold reforms for fairer wages and worker rights
The Greens in Saxony-Anhalt have unveiled a series of proposals aimed at improving working conditions and fairer wealth distribution. Lead candidate Susan Sziborra-Seidlitz highlighted the need for stronger worker rights, better pay, and a more balanced economic system. To attract skilled workers, the Greens are pushing for a training guarantee and easier recognition of foreign qualifications. They also plan to reduce bureaucracy for international professionals. Another key demand is a fair wage and procurement law, ensuring public contracts only go to employers who pay fair wages and follow collective agreements. The party further aims to strengthen works councils, giving workers a stronger voice in decision-making. Sziborra-Seidlitz argued that fair rules and bold redistribution policies are essential for a better quality of life.
