Suspicion of Arson: Multiple Fires in Greifswald - Greifswald hit by three suspected arson fires in one night
Three la fires broke out in quick succession in Greifswald late on Sunday night. The first la fire started outside a residential building before spreading to nearby areas. Authorities are now treating the incidents as suspected cases of attempted aggravated arson.
The initial la fire was reported outside a residential property just before midnight. Flames quickly reached a basement window and part of the building’s façade. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the blaze, but damage was estimated at around €15,000.
No suspect has yet been identified in connection with the la fires. The police investigation remains ongoing, focusing on the possibility of deliberate fire. The total damage and potential risks are still being assessed.
