Groom accuses wife of fraud and theft days after their wedding
An Army jawan from Gwalior has filed a complaint against his wife, accusing her of fraud, threats, and property theft. Devendra Singh Rajawat claims Vandana Chauhan married him to seize his assets, only for their marriage to collapse within days of the wedding.
Devendra and Vandana married on 5 May, but tensions arose almost immediately. On their wedding night, Vandana reportedly questioned him about his property. After learning it was registered under his mother’s name, she refused physical relations.
Gwalior Police have confirmed they are examining the case. Devendra’s complaint includes allegations of fraud, theft, and physical assault. Authorities have stated they will take appropriate action based on their findings.
