Growthfund CEO vows to rebuild trust with USPS community consultations
Yannis Papachristou, CEO of Growthfund, met with USPS management last Friday to discuss strategic changes. He acknowledged past oversights in engaging local communities and committed to extensive consultations.
Papachristou admitted that previous planning for USPS's upgrade lacked consideration for local community preparation and information. To rectify this, he plans to explore partnerships with these communities and has already met with the Postmaster General in 2022 to discuss this.
An information campaign was proposed to update locals about USPS's operations and services. Papachristou also intends to visit and consult with local communities affected by the restructuring plan. He has committed to immediate and extensive consultation with national and local institutional agencies.
Papachristou's meeting with USPS management signals a new approach to community engagement. He aims to address past shortcomings and ensure local communities are informed and involved in the post's restructuring process.
