GSIS holds dialogue to reform loans and digital services for members
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) hosted a stakeholders’ dialogue in Quezon City on November 19, 2025. The event brought together members, officials, and experts to discuss reforms, digital services, and fraud prevention. Attendees raised concerns about loan policies, pension processing, and frontline programmes in an open forum.
GSIS President Wick Veloso stressed the importance of member feedback in shaping institutional changes. He noted that direct input had already led to policy adjustments, such as allowing members to count monthly rent as part of their housing loan amortisation. The dialogue also covered updates on digital innovation, including improvements to the GSIS mobile app and online platforms.
GSIS announced plans to hold more regional dialogues to maintain transparency and accountability. The discussions will focus on refining services based on member needs. The latest event reinforced the agency’s commitment to responsive governance and fraud prevention.
