Gunman Targets U-Train in Wittenau, No Injuries Reported
An alarming incident occurred last night at the Karl-Bonhoeffer-Nervenklinik station. An unknown man fired a gun at the last carriage of a departing U-train around 9 PM. Miraculously, no passengers were injured despite several being present in the carriage.
The gunshot shattered a window of the train carriage but failed to penetrate it. After the incident, the unknown assailant fled the scene, leaving behind a scene of shock and confusion.
The police have since launched an investigation into the attempted dangerous assault. The case is being handled by a specialist unit at Police Station 1 (North). Despite extensive searches, the name of the head of this unit remains unknown at this time.
