Güstrow hit by coordinated vandalism targeting political and community centers

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the local office of the Left Party (DIE LINKE) on Güstrow's Domstraße was targeted in an act of criminal damage. According to police, unknown perpetrators used an unidentified object to shatter four window panes from the outside. Investigators have narrowed the time of the incident to between 11:20 PM on Monday and 7:45 AM this morning.
Later that same morning, a second case of property damage was reported. This time, the storefront window and door glass of the alliance "Güstrow for All" ("Güstrow für alle") at Pferdemarkt were vandalized. The incident is believed to have occurred between 9:00 PM yesterday and 10:00 AM today.
Preliminary estimates place the total damage in both cases at several hundred euros. Criminal police have launched an investigation into the vandalism, with no suspects currently identified.
Authorities are urging witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity near either crime scene during the specified times—or who have information about potential suspects—to come forward.
