Gütersloh Hosts Forum to Reshape Child and Youth Work Policies

An expert forum on child and youth work will take place in Gütersloh on Friday, March 13. The event invites professionals, volunteers, and young people to share ideas and discuss challenges in the sector. Organisers have kept registrations open until March 10 to encourage wide participation.

The forum runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Gütersloh City Hall, located on the 7th floor of Building I. Attendees will include workers from youth services, political representatives, and children themselves. No fixed number of participants has been set, allowing flexibility for last-minute sign-ups.

Before the event, feedback on current issues and future goals can still be submitted. Ideas and suggestions are accepted via email at jugendarbeit@[our website] until Sunday, March 1. Discussions from the earlier kickoff meeting are also available online through TaskCards at www.stadt.gt/kjfp-taskcards. The session aims to gather diverse perspectives on improving youth services. Organisers hope the mix of professionals, policymakers, and young voices will lead to practical solutions.

The forum offers a chance for all involved in youth work to shape local policies and initiatives. Final contributions must be sent by March 1, while registrations close on March 10. Outcomes from the discussions will be shared after the event.
