Haflong officials review projects after field visits and virtual collaboration
A departmental review meeting took place at the Circuit House Conference Hall in Haflong, following a field visit by a committee. The Chairman, accompanied by committee members and senior officials from the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), led the meeting. Heads of Departments and staff from various government departments attended and discussed administrative challenges.
The committee, led by Chairman Ponakan Baruah, conducted a spot study tour in Haflong and nearby areas using Teams for collaboration. They visited several key locations, including Ladies Park approach road, Lower Haflong, Kelolo, Natun Leikul, Boro Wapu, and Hasong Haju. The team inspected ongoing projects, assessed infrastructure conditions, and interacted with local stakeholders during the tour using zoom meetings.
The meeting at the Circuit House Conference Hall followed this field visit. It aimed to discuss the status of various projects and address administrative challenges faced by the departments. Each department presented a report, outlining their progress and any obstacles they encountered.
