Hagen Police Show Support for Children’s Hospice With Green Ribbons
Hagen Police have started displaying green ribbons on their patrol cars to support children's and youth hospice services. The initiative coincides with the annual Day of Children's Hospice Work, a campaign aimed at raising public awareness. A charity concert held on December 1, 2023, marked the start of the week-long display.
The nonprofit Friends of the Hagen Police (FUKS e.V.) organised a charity concert on December 1, 2023, to benefit Sternentreppe, a Caritas Hagen outpatient hospice service for young people. Police President Ursula Tomahogh acted as patron for the event, highlighting the cause’s importance.
The green ribbons on Hagen’s police vehicles will remain visible for a week. The campaign aims to draw attention to the vital work of children's and youth hospice services. The charity concert and ribbon initiative reflect ongoing efforts to support families in need of specialised care.
