A large fire broke out at a storage facility in Barsbüttel early on December 21, 2025. The blaze destroyed a 300-square-meter warehouse before firefighters brought it under control. No injuries have been reported so far.

The fire started at 3:37 AM, prompting a swift response from multiple emergency teams. Over six volunteer fire brigades arrived at the scene, deploying 19 vehicles to tackle the flames. Crews worked through the night to contain the fire, which fully engulfed the warehouse.

By morning, the operation had concluded without any casualties. Authorities have now begun investigating the cause of the incident. The name of the logistics company operating the warehouse remains undisclosed in current public reports.
