Halle Honours Volunteers with Ehrenamtskarte Access to Events
The city of Halle (Saale) honours its volunteers with the Ehrenamtskarte, a pass that grants access to sports and cultural events. Since 2016, over 2600 residents have benefited from this recognition. This year, nominations close on September 30, with presentations set for December 5, 2025.
The Ehrenamtskarte is awarded annually to volunteers who have dedicated at least a year of service, with a minimum of four hours per week or 200 hours annually. Since its inception in 2016, 2655 Halle residents have received this card, allowing them to enjoy a variety of events.
Nominations for the Ehrenamtskarte 2026 can be submitted online by organizations on behalf of their volunteers until Tuesday, September 30. The presentation of the cards will take place during a ceremony at the Ulrichskirche on the International Day of Volunteering, December 5, 2025.
Starting in 2024, the city has expanded offers for Ehrenamtskarte holders in collaboration with the event portal 'unsere Website365'. These include exclusive tours and discounts available on www.ehrenamtskarte-unsere-website.
The city of Halle (Saale) encourages organizations to nominate their dedicated volunteers for the Ehrenamtskarte before the September 30 deadline. The programme, now in its seventh year, continues to grow, offering more benefits to volunteers and recognising their invaluable contributions to the community.
