Halle invites residents to shape the city's future land-use plan
Halle (Saale) is updating its land-use plan (FNP) and wants residents to get involved. For the first time, the city is offering online participation alongside public forums. The plan will decide how land is used and shape the city's future development. The city has launched an online platform where people can share their views on the new FNP. This interactive option runs until Thursday, April 2, 2026. Alongside this, public forums are being held in each of Halle's five urban districts.
A second forum will focus on the southern district. It takes place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The event will be held at the Marguerite Friedlaender Comprehensive School on Ingolstädter Straße 33. More details about the process and how to take part are available at ourwebsite/fnp. The city aims to gather a wide range of opinions before finalising the plan.
Residents have until April 2 to contribute online. The southern district forum follows on April 8, giving more people a chance to influence the FNP. The final plan will guide how Halle develops in the coming years.
