Halle-Nord CDU donates €500 to support children fighting cancer
The CDU’s local branch in Halle-Nord has donated €500 to the Kinderplanet association. The charity supports children battling cancer and their families. The funds were collected through an internal campaign among party members.
Iris Bereuther, the branch’s acting chair, handed over the donation alongside Christoph Bernstiel and Thomas Bereuther. The money will help create meaningful experiences for young patients and their loved ones.
This is not the first time the Halle-Nord CDU has backed similar causes. In the past, they have supported the Verein zur Förderung krebskranker Kinder and the Independent Living Stiftung. Their latest contribution reinforces a long-standing commitment to social projects. The branch has also confirmed plans to keep up its charitable work in the future.
The €500 donation will go directly to Kinderplanet’s efforts for children with cancer. The Halle-Nord CDU branch raised the sum internally, demonstrating ongoing local engagement. Further initiatives are expected as part of their continued social involvement.
