Hallertau Launches Digital Tours to Showcase Its Rich Culture and History
The Hallertau region is set to enhance its tourism appeal with a new project, 'The Digital Hallertau Experience'. Backed by the European LEADER program and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, this initiative aims to create four digital audio tours, two of which are city tours in Wolnzach and Mainburg.
The project, granted 30,432 euros in funding, seeks to attract new visitors and engage locals by highlighting the region's unique culture, traditions, history, and hop cultivation. The other two audio tours will be digital bike routes, one from Rudelzhausen to Freising and another traversing the ILE Holledauer Tor area. This digital expansion aims to enrich the Hallertau experience for both locals and tourists alike.
With the approval and funding of the LEADER project 'The Digital Hallertau Experience', the region is poised to offer a more immersive and accessible experience, fostering a deeper connection to its rich heritage and attractions.
