Hanseatic Help Distributes Gifts to People with Low Income - Hamburg Charity Spreads Holiday Joy With 2,500 Christmas Gift Bags
A Hamburg charity is bringing festive support to low-income families this Christmas. Hanseatic Help has launched a seasonal initiative to distribute thousands of gift bags to those receiving social assistance. The scheme begins this week at three city locations.
Starting on Wednesday, 2,500 Christmas bags will be handed out at selected Hanseatic Stores across Hamburg. Each bag contains presents for children alongside essential items for adults. The charity has timed the distribution to coincide with regular visits by benefit recipients.
The Christmas bags will reach eligible families through existing social assistance channels. Distribution is tied to scheduled visits at three Hanseatic Stores in the city. The initiative aims to ease financial pressure during the holiday season for Hamburg’s most vulnerable households.
