The kick-off event will take place at the HafenCity University, running from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Hamburg's bid chief, Steffen R, will lead the event, outlining the city's vision and answering questions.
Following the kick-off, seven more information events are planned across various districts. These include Wandsbek (November 3rd), Bergedorf (November 4th), Harburg (November 12th), Nord (November 17th), Eimsbüttel (November 18th), Altona (November 20th), and Mitte (November 27th). Ulke, the organizer, encourages everyone to participate, contribute, and ask questions.
Hamburg's bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Games is gaining momentum. With the decisive citizen vote scheduled for May 31st, 2026, these information events aim to inform and engage the public. The city joins Berlin, Munich, and the Rhine-Ruhr region as potential candidates.
