Hammer attack leaves woman hospitalized after drunken brawl in Vitebsk

An argument broke out, and the 53-year-old woman struck her partner first with a hammer. The man retaliated, inflicting far more severe injuries that required hospital treatment for the woman. The woman remains in the hospital recovering from her injuries. The man is in police custody, awaiting further legal proceedings. Authorities have not disclosed whether the woman will also face charges for her role in the assault.
