Landespolitician Hohm Elected Head of New AfD Youth Organization - Hard-right leader Hohm secures uncontested chair of AfD’s new youth wing
Jean-Pascal Hohm has been elected chair of the AfD’s new youth organisation, Generation Germany. The 28-year-old from Cottbus secured the role with overwhelming support at the group’s founding event in Giessen. His election marks a clear shift toward hard-right policies within the party’s youth wing.
Hohm won the leadership position with 90.4% of the vote. There were no rival candidates, ensuring his appointment went uncontested. Jan Richard Behr, from Rhineland-Palatinate, was also elected as first deputy chair, receiving 89% approval.
The founding of Generation Germany solidifies Hohm’s role as a leading figure in the AfD’s youth structure. His overwhelming mandate and clear policy direction signal a continued push for stricter migration controls. The organisation’s formation also strengthens the party’s efforts to engage younger voters with its nationalist agenda.
