Head of the Investigative Department Presented an Award to Cadets of Gymnasium No. 2 - Winners of the All-Russian Competition of the Investigative Committee
Gymnasium No. 2 in Nizhny Novgorod has earned national recognition for its cadet programme. The school’s 11th Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) class secured third place in a prestigious contest. A senior official visited to honour the students and their educators for this achievement.
The 2025 All-Russian Contest for Best ICR Cadet Class assessed schools on multiple criteria. Judges reviewed academic results, Olympiad performances, sports achievements, and creative projects. They also considered patriotic initiatives and volunteer work as part of the evaluation.
On 18 December 2025, Lieutenant General of Justice Airat Sayetovich Akhmetshin attended the gymnasium to present an award. As head of the regional Investigative Directorate, he handed a certificate of achievement to the school’s principal, Tatyana Stanislavovna Kalinina, on behalf of Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee. Akhmetshin praised the cadets for their strong training, dedication, and active civic involvement. He also thanked the teachers and mentors responsible for guiding the next generation of legal professionals.
The gymnasium’s cadet class now ranks among the top three in the country. The award highlights the school’s success in combining specialised education with extracurricular excellence. Officials have recognised both the students’ efforts and the educators’ role in their development.
