Heideck's Laibstadt Sewage Pipe Renovation Approved After Competitive Bidding
Heideck's city council has given the green light to renovate Laibstadt's sewage and water pipes. This decision follows the cancellation of a previous tender due to an excessively high bid.
The council initially received only one bid for the project, which was significantly higher than the estimated cost of over two million euros. Consequently, the tender was scrapped.
This time, at least three companies submitted bids, although their names remain undisclosed due to lack of public information. The renovation is deemed necessary for the southern district road and a local street in Laibstadt.
With multiple bids received, the city council aims to secure a more competitive price for the renovation work. The project's details and timeline will be finalised in the coming weeks.
