Heinersdorf Fire Station Festival returns with retro fun and firefighting action
The 15th Heinersdorf Fire Station Festival returns this weekend with two days of free entertainment. Hosted by the Heinersdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade, the event kicks off with a retro party on Friday evening before a full programme on Saturday.
The festival begins on Friday night with a themed party celebrating music from the 1980s and 1990s. Guests can enjoy hits from both decades in a lively atmosphere.
Saturday’s schedule offers something for all ages. Emergency drills and demonstrations by the youth fire brigade will take place throughout the day. Live music and a dedicated children’s programme will also run alongside these activities.
Visitors will have the chance to get up close to modern firefighting equipment. The volunteer fire department will be on hand to explain their work and answer questions about their role in the community.
The event runs for two days at the Heinersdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade station. Entry is free, and no tickets are required. Organisers have planned a mix of entertainment, education, and hands-on experiences for attendees.
