Heroic bystander attacked after intervening in Offenbach street dispute
A 23-year-old man was assaulted in Offenbach city centre on Monday morning. The attack happened after he stepped in to stop a verbal dispute involving a stranger. Police are now asking for public help to find the suspect.
The incident took place early in the day when the victim tried to intervene in an argument. The assailant, described as tall—around 1.90 metres—and slim, turned on him. Dressed in a white shirt, with short black hair, glasses, and a black backpack, the attacker kicked the man in the face before fleeing.
The investigation remains ongoing as officers piece together details of the confrontation. Anyone who recognises the description or has encountered the man is encouraged to come forward. Police hope public cooperation will lead to a swift identification of the attacker.
