Heroic fathers honored with ‘Father of a Soldier’ medals at emotional Yakutia concert
In a heartfelt ceremony during the charity concert 'Kyyayyy Kynattaakh', four fathers of brave servicemen were honoured with the 'Father of a Soldier' medals. The Russian Ministry of Defense and the Yakutia branch of the state fund 'Defenders of the Fatherland' led the solemn event, celebrating parental heroism and support.
Alexander Kipriyanov, father of Hero of Russia Petr Kipriyanov, was one of the recipients. He was presented the medal by Philipp Yevseyev and Maiya Argunova, who also honoured Petr Tarabukin, Valeryan Oschepkov, and Arkady Nikolayev. The proud fathers were recognised for raising skilled and courageous warriors.
The Yakutia branch presented the fathers with a touching keepsake, the book 'Bihigini Umnaaiyyakhyt'. This collection features poems and essays about veterans and fallen heroes, serving as a poignant reminder of their sacrifices.
The 'Father of a Soldier' medals symbolise gratitude towards these remarkable parents. Their support and love have nurtured brave individuals willing to defend their country. The ceremony at the charity concert was a fitting tribute to their parental heroism.
