Poseck: Renouncing Palantir Software Would Be a Security Gap - Hesse's Minister Praises Palantir's 'Hessendata' in Preventing Terrorism and Bank Robberies
Hesse's Interior Minister Roman Poseck has praised the Palantir software 'Hessendata', highlighting its success in preventing a terrorist attack and assisting in bank robbery cases. He advocates for a nationwide solution and encourages the federal government to adopt similar data analysis tools.
Poseck argues that abandoning 'Hessendata' would leave a noticeable security gap, as there's no comparable German or European product. He's confident that Europe will soon have its own solutions in data analysis tools to reduce dependence on the United States. Poseck suggests that the state can provide support to the IT industry to develop these solutions. The software has already helped apprehend the group around Prince Reuß, currently on trial in Frankfurt. Poseck supports collaboration across state borders and with the federal government to find a solution.
Hesse's Interior Minister Roman Poseck endorses the use of Palantir's 'Hessendata' and urges the development of European alternatives to achieve more digital sovereignty. He believes that the state can provide impetus and support to the IT industry to create these solutions.
